Check farm plots against the EU Deforestation Regulation

eudr.dev takes the boundaries of a plot of land and answers one question with signed satellite evidence: was there forest loss after 31 December 2020, the cut-off in Regulation (EU) 2023/1115. It then prepares the Annex II Due Diligence Statement an operator files before placing goods on the EU market.

Built for exporters, cooperatives and procurement teams who have to produce evidence — and for the AI agents acting on their behalf, which can use the same engine over MCP or A2A without a human in the loop.

What it does

• Checks plots for forest loss. GeoJSON boundaries, a commodity and a country of production return a per-plot verdict, the loss years observed, and how much of each polygon was actually inspected.
• Finds what a supplier file is missing. Article 9(1) is a closed list of seven items an operator must hold. Supplier records are checked against it field by field, and the gaps come back with the article limb and the request to send.
• Prepares the statement. A compiled Annex II document, signed, exportable as TRACES NT submission XML — and never filed with any authority on your behalf.
• Shows its work. Every verdict carries the derivation chain that produced it: which cells, which signed measurements, which algorithm against which pinned registries, and which of three independent keys signed what. Read the methodology.

What it does not do

This answers Article 3(a), deforestation-free, which is observable from orbit. It does not answer Article 3(b), legality in the country of production: land tenure, harvesting and environmental permits, free prior and informed consent, labour and tax compliance. Those are documentary checks the operator carries out, and every response names them as unresolved rather than letting a clean forest-loss result read as a clean due-diligence file.

Statements are signed with ed25519 and addressed by content, so a counterparty can check one without trusting us: the signature establishes who issued the exact bytes and that nothing has changed since.
